The hotel is under local Gambian management. The senior
manager, Mr. Ebrima Nije, has served the former president
as a personal chef. The atmosphere is African and we take
pride in offering a very friendly service, with the customary
warm Gambian hospitality.
There are many enjoyable places to visit nearby, such
as art galleries, markets, shops, boutiques, restaurants,
discos and beach bars.
The Gambia offers 25 miles of unspoilt and safe sandy
beaches on the Atlantic Ocean. Beach bars are dotted along
the stunning coastline and provide easy-going places to
rest and relax in the shade. In the mornings, Gambians
and visitors alike can be seen jogging, while the local
fishermen bring in the catch of the day. As the day wanes,
a special atmosphere descends as drumming and singing
fill the air.
Bakadaji Hotel is located at Kololi on Bertil Harding
Highway opposite the travel port. Further
